Parsing happens in the tab
The CSV is read with the browser's own File API and turned into rows by JavaScript running on your machine. There is no upload step, because there is no server endpoint that accepts your file.
Privacy
Your contacts stay on your machine.
No account. No database of your network. No “we may share with partners” clause, because there is nothing to share.
Storage is your own browser
So you don't have to re-upload on every visit, the parsed dataset is kept in localStorage under a single key. It stays on that device, in that browser profile, and is never synced by us.
The only thing that travels
If you use the “Ask your network” chat, your question plus an anonymised digest is sent to the AI model. The digest is aggregate: counts by seniority, industry, freshness and top company sizes. No names, no emails, no profile URLs, no individual rows.
Erasing is instant
“Clear my data” in the dashboard removes the stored dataset immediately. Clearing site data in your browser has the same effect. Nothing survives it, because there was no copy anywhere else.

One practical consequence: because everything is local, your dashboard doesn't follow you between devices. That's the trade we chose. Re-drop the CSV on the other machine and you're back in seconds.
